Dr. Kaufman, O.D.

Practicing in Palm Beach County since 1986.  He was the founder of Kaufman Eyecare Center and was at that office from 1993 until November when he sold it to a large  a optical  corporation.  He stayed with the corporation for three years and then decided to reopen his practice at the urging of many former patents.  

The practice specializes in primary care, anterior medical emergencies such as conjunctivitis.  Dr. Kaufman is board and oral antiibiotic prescprition certified.

 

Dr Kaufman was born in Chicago and is married with two children.  He graduated from University of Florida and Sothern College of Optometry Memphis Tenn.  He is a member of the American Optometric Association and a life time member of the Florida Optometric associiation..  He has held numerous elected positions in his local association.  He was lthe treasurer for the Florida Optometric Association for five years.  In 2022 he was awarded the Presidents award at the Florida Optomerric association's annual convention.  He contiues his passion for takiing care of his former and new patients at his new office Eyecare for you in Boynton Beach.  He is located at the Boynton Commons Plaza 349 N Congress Ave.  It is the same plaza that has Marshall's, Barnes Noble and is adjacent tho the new Shoe Rack  track store.  He attributes much of his sucess due to his un wavering support.
